Turn ideas into awesome animations
Through this one hour crash course, young creators will learn how to bring their ideas to life through the power of animation. By creating their own digital flip books, they’ll transform characters into superheroes with amazing magic powers.
Two sessions are available:
Friday 15 August
- Session 1: 10am–11.15am
- Session 2: 12pm–1.15pm
What’s Involved
- Create digital flipbooks and doodle on top of photos using iPads
- Take on fun animation challenges — like animating your name or turning yourself into a superhero
- Use free tools like Brush Ninja and FlipaClip to experiment and play
What They'll Learn
- Understand the basics of digital animation
- Draw on an iPad using an Apple Pencil
- Learn how to export and share animated creations

- No prior animation skills are required
- All equipment provided
