We are Nerve Centre
Founded in 1990 in Derry~Londonderry, Nerve Centre was established as a creative outlet for youth culture and a space for young people who felt excluded from the traditional arts sector.
Today, it is a dynamic and inclusive hub engaging more than 120,000 people each year through a wide-ranging programme of arts events, film screenings, festivals, community engagement initiatives, and training opportunities.
Nerve Centre nurtures new talent across music, film, animation, and digital media, delivering award-winning education and culturally significant projects that inspire creativity and drive social change.
With a team of more than 50 staff based in Derry~Londonderry and Belfast, our expertise spans project management, creative education, animation, filmmaking, programming and marketing.
Nerve Centre is home to a number of high-profile initiatives and programmes, including: Creative Learning Centres, Power Plants, Foyle Film Festival, Our Place in Space, Making the Future, Reimagine, Remake, Replay, and Creative Centenaries.
