Grab a camera, build your own props and recreate a famous film trailer!
Whether you're behind the scenes or in the spotlight, this four-day workshop for 11–15 year olds is a chance to learn real filmmaking skills and collaborate as part of a creative team, guided by industry professionals.Workshop dates:
- Monday 21 July: 10.00am–4.00pm
- Tuesday 22 July: 10.00am–4.00pm
- Wednesday 23 July: 10.00am–4.00pm
- Thursday 24 July: 10.00am–12.30pm
What's Involved
- Work collaboratively with your team to recreate a famous film trailer
- Source, create & upcycle low-budget props and costumes
- Get creative and come up with zero budget special effects
- Showcase your work to friends and family with a special screening

What You'll Learn
- Basics of filmmaking, including cinematography and shooting techniques
- How to be creative with limited resources
- Teamwork and behind-the-scenes production roles
