Two art forms, one production!
Explore how live action and animation come together in this five-day summer programme for 15-19 year olds.
Choose a strand — film or animation — and work as part of a production team to create a short film that blends both styles.
You’ll collaborate with other young creatives and end the week with a showcase celebration!

What's Involved...
- Work collaboratively in production teams to create a short film
- Work to a brief and shot list combining live action and animation
- Showcase your work to friends and family with a special screening event

What You'll Learn...
- The end-to-end process of filmmaking, from pre-production to post-production
- Filmmakers will learn the basics of cinematography, sound and editing
- Animators will gain experience using Procreate and Procreate Dreams to create animated sequences

- On Tuesday, you’ll spend the day at The MAC, Belfast — using their gallery space and the surrounding area at St Anne’s Square as creative inspiration for your project.
