Northern Ireland Screen Academies Showcase | BFI Future Film Festival

Join us as we celebrate films and animations from our six Screen Academies across Northern Ireland, celebrating the creativity and talent of the next generation of filmmakers.

BFI Film Academy and Northern Ireland Screen Academies offer an inclusive platform for young people aged 16–19 who are not enrolled in University to get into the screen industries.

Designed for those taking their first steps into the screen industries as well as for those who want to build on their experience, the academies focus on building knowledge and skills led by industry professionals and showcasing diverse career pathways.

BFI Film Academy and Northern Ireland Screen Academies are delivered by Nerve Centre supported by Northern Ireland Screen through the Department of Communities, by the Department for Education in England, National Lottery and Screen Scotland.
