Join us for Biodiversity University, a free, hands-on summer workshop series for children aged 8–12 (plus parents!) at the Ulster Transport Museum.

Over three exciting mornings, young nature lovers will explore the world of birds, insects, and wildflowers through fun outdoor activities and creative digital skills sessions. From bug hunts and seed bombs to designing games and animations, participants will discover the magic of biodiversity and bring it to life through technology.

Children will spend 90 minutes on nature-based, hands-on activities, followed by 90 minutes developing creative digital skills linked to the day’s theme. Parents are welcome to join in and learn alongside their children!

Biodiversity University is delivered by The Conservation Volunteers and Nerve Centre as part of the Power Plants project.
