Here comes the Sun… along with an EPIC scale model of our solar system. In autumn 2022, we landed in the historic city of Liverpool, inviting you to jog to Jupiter, swing by Saturn, and dance around the Sun — all without ever leaving planet Earth.
Bringing the Solar System to Merseyside
Our 8.1 km scale model of the solar system brought Liverpool City Centre to life from 14 October to 6 November 2022.
Starting at the Sun on Church Street, the trail wound its way along the city’s iconic waterfront and the Trans Pennine Trail, culminating in Otterspool — a truly stellar journey through the heart of Liverpool.
