Guadagnino's latest heartbreaker...

1950. William Lee (Daniel Craig), an American expat in Mexico City, spends his days almost entirely alone, except for a few contacts with other members of the small American community. His encounter with Eugene Allerton (Drew Starkey), an expat former soldier, new to the city, shows him, for the first time, that it might be finally possible to establish an intimate connection with somebody.

Director Luca Guadagnino and screen-writer Justin Kuritzkes follow up to Challengers, juxtaposes beauty and ugliness in this tale of life, love and sexuality which is both tender and poignant. Featuring a career-best performance from Daniel Craig, Queer is a striking exploration of longing and infatuation, Guadagnino’s most passionately heartfelt film since Call Me by Your Name.
