This latest film from Korean auteur July Jung following her atmospheric debut A Girl at My Door.
Next Sohee centres on cheerful and dance-loving high school student Sohee (Kim Si-eun), who starts an eagerly awaited internship at a call centre. However, the work soon becomes too much for her after a period of struggle and overwhelming pressure, where she finds she cannot take it anymore.
As Detective Oh Yoo-jin (Bae Doo-na) starts to investigate Sohee's death, she starts to follow both the traces of Sohee's life and the work environment which surrounded her, unveiling an underbelly that is more upsetting and distressing than she could ever have imagined.
