Our Belfast, Our Stories
Commissioned by Belfast 2024, earlier this year Belfast Film Festival asked the people of Belfast to get involved in The Hearth film project. We invited you to share your stories about life in Belfast and/or film something on your phone that reflects Belfast in 2024.
Thanks to your contributions, we've gathered over 20 hours of footage from over 300 participants. The Our Faces of Belfast exhibition showcases pictures of every participant in The Hearth film process and a glimpse of each submission.
You can see the exhibition at:
- Belfast Exposed Art Gallery: 4–17 November
- St George’s Market: 22–24 November
The Hearth film will premiere at Cineworld Belfast on 12 December 2024.
Our Stories Festival
Nerve Centre, in partnership with Belfast 2024, Belfast Stories and NI Science Festival, invite you to celebrate Our People, Our Place, Our Planet.
From 21–24 November, Belfast city centre will be alive with inspiring talks, creative workshops, and inspiring events. Join us to explore the power of storytelling and the future of Belfast.
