Join us for a series of face to face, Halloween-themed workshops that'll put your imagination to the test through digital art, video game design and creepy character creation. Read more below!
Registrations will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis and must be completed by a parent/guardian.
All equipment will be provided.
Deadly Digital Art (ages 13–16)
Wednesday 30 October | 10am–1pm
Learn the principals of animation and create your own Halloween-themed digital artworks through Procreate and Procreate Dreams.
Design demonic characters and get animated with some spooky sketching!
MakeCode Arcade at Halloween (ages 8–11)
Thursday 31 October | 10am–1pm
Code your own spooky-themed Platform and Shooter games using Microsoft MakeCode Arcade — a free computer app and website.
Learn how to design 2D tilemap video games... and then play them with your friends and family!
Creepy AI Creatures (ages 11–14)
Friday 1 November | 10am–1pm
Using Adobe Express and generative AI, design your own weird and wonderful creatures and make them come to life with simple animation, backgrounds, text effects, voice recordings and music.
Where would they live? What would they eat? What noises would they make? Be your own David Attenborough and discover a new creepy species!
Participants will need their c2k login to access the premium account of Adobe Express.
