Nerve Centre Joins StoryFutures Xperience Programme

Nerve Centre is excited to announce that we’ve become one of the newest partners in the StoryFutures Xperience programme to deliver virtual reality (VR) experiences to audiences across the UK.

As part of this partnership, we’ll be carrying out a series of VR research screenings at our Derry venue from December 2023 through March 2024.

This is an amazing opportunity for us to explore the VR format, gauge the interest of our local audience and potentially integrate VR more extensively into our future plans including upcoming film festivals, existing venue activities and in-cinema research screenings.

We’re excited to collaborate with StoryFutures and our fellow Xperience partners across the UK. As members of this network, we aim to not only showcase some of the best VR available today but also be part of the conversations around the limitless possibilities of the format.

This week the Nerve Centre team came together to receive training and enjoy three VR works from the StoryFutures catalogue - Monoliths, When Something Happens and Kindred.
