The Museums Change Lives Awards 2020 celebrate the achievements of museums and individuals that have made an impact on the lives of their audiences and communities.
The Best Museums Change Lives Project award recognises the best project in the past year that reflects one or more of the themes of the MA’s Museums Change Lives campaign: Promoting Health and Wellbeing; Creating Better Places; and Inspiring Engagement, Reflection and Debate.
Reimagine, Remake, Replay have been nominated for their innovative work, facilitating opportunities for 16 to 25 year olds to connect to heritage in meaningful ways, enabling them to explore museum collections using the latest digital technologies. Participants gain experience of event management, digital fabrication and emerging tech, filmmaking and digital storytelling. As well as producing exciting and unique outputs, the project creates opportunities for young people to develop their ideas and enhance their professional and personal development.
The winners will be announced at a virtual ceremony at on Thursday 5 November.
