The Digital Resources Developer will support the creation of digital resources (e.g. film/animation, iBooks, interactive PDF resources, 360 virtual tours, virtual/augmented reality content, audio tours) across a range of Nerve Centre projects exploring history, culture and identity.
The main project is the Decade of Commemorations, which the Nerve Centre is delivering in partnership with the Tower Museum. The Decade of Centenaries remembers the events which took place from 1912 to 1922, beginning with the signing of the Ulster Covenant in 1912 and ending with civil war and the partition of the island in 1922. The Digital Resources Developer will create digital resources to enable project participants and exhibition visitors to explore this shared history, in the context of current contentious issues, and ‘improve understanding across the community in a respectful and dignified manner’.
