Last night, Belfast witnessed the dazzling launch of the Eclectic exhibition, a vibrant showcase of talent from the next generation of artists.
Curated by Ulster University graduates Ezra Pinkerton, Rosie Dowds and Niamh McWilliams-Small, Eclectic is an exhibition by students, for students. It brings together the work of 27 talented Belfast School of Art graduates, offering a glimpse into their diverse perspectives and artistic styles.
Working collaboratively with past and present Belfast School of Art students, Ezra, Rosie and Niamh did an incredible job in bringing the exhibition into life, through the planning, printing and staging process. We think they did a tremendous job!
A Tapestry of Talent
From queer identity and mythology to heritage and Irish iconography, the illustrations on display delve into a wide range of subjects. Each piece is a testament to the students' passion, skill, and dedication to their craft.
Eclectic is more than just an exhibition; it's a celebration of the vibrant and diverse creative landscape that continues to shape Belfast's culture. As you wander through the gallery, you'll encounter a stunning array of illustrations, each one a unique expression of the artist's individuality.
Don't miss your chance to experience this incredible exhibition. Eclectic is open to the public until 24 November at 2 Royal Avenue.
This exhibition has been produced by the Nerve Centre and Ulster University Belfast School of Art, as part of the Belfast 2024 programme.
