Visual Effects
The VFX Academy is open to any young person throughout the region aged 16-19 with the talent and commitment to take up a career within the Visual Effects industry.
About This Course
The VFX Academy offers young people with an interest in post-production the opportunity to gain insight into the post-production process of creating visual effects. Participants will experience what it is like to create a short film sequence that is to be digitally augmented, and learn digital composition skills to create their own VFX sequence.
Industry connections with Double Jump, Yellow Moon, Enter Yes and other VFX professionals have provided content and experience for our participants that is engaging, enjoyable and relevant to meet the needs of the industry.
Previously participants have worked on a short sci-fi film Human Error, a zombie film The Catfish, and recreated a sequence from Breaking Bad.
