The Games Development Academy is a unique free training programme for young people aged 16-19 with an interest in Gaming and Games Design.

Under the mentorship of Professionals working in the local industry you will have an opportunity to see how games are developed in the real world and team up with other young people to work together to design, code and develop your own games.
Whether you're a budding developer, an aspiring artist, or just curious about the industry... this academy is for you!
What you'll learn
~ Industry Insights: You will meet local game developers, lecturers, and freelancers from Northern Ireland to gain firsthand advice and insights into their journeys in the gaming world.
~ Diverse Skills: Explore various aspects of game development including idea generation, programming, sound design, and both 2D and 3D art.
~ Real-World Experience: Work under the guidance of industry mentors to develop practical skills.
