Nerve Centre presents Moving Pictures — Rush Tribute
Moving Pictures is one of Europe's top tributes to Canada's most influential prog rock band — Rush, and will play at Nerve Centre in November as part of a sell-out UK tour.
Rush fans across the North West can enjoy over two hours of rock classics such as Tom Sawyer, The Spirit of Radio and Xanadu (with double neck guitars) alongside some deeper cuts such as By Tor and later belters Far Cry and Headlong Flight.
“Moving Pictures — they're really really good. I give them a double Redick thumbs-up.”
— Darren Redick — Planet Rock Radio.
On seeing the Moving Pictures video of their arrangement of Afterimage Alex Lifeson (Rush guitarist) wrote — “Very moving and beautifully done. Heartfelt thanks to the band for their kind tribute.”
Moving Pictures regularly appear on the bill at Rush fan conventions and has gained a devoted following who appreciate their dedication and skill in faithfully recreating the magic of Rush's music. So much so that they've been invited by Rush drummer Neil Peart's family to play at Lakeside Park in Ontario in August 2023.
Their performances often attract audiences of all ages, from long-time Rush enthusiasts to new fans discovering the band's music for the first time.
Their commitment to authenticity and attention to detail make them a must-see for any fan of Rush.
