Job Opportunity: Social Media and Communications Officer

The Social Media and Communications Officer is a new role within our growing and award winning marcomms team.

This exciting opportunity will see you contribute to the creation of innovative, engaging content across Nerve Centre’s broad portfolio of projects and digital platforms.

The role will focus on the Nerve Centre’s core activity, including the promotion of our Foyle Film Festival, BFI Academy events, music events and creative learning programmes.

The successful candidate will have at least 1 year's experience working in digital communications. They will have experience of developing at least two different types of digital content in a professional context, be skilled in using a range of creative software, and excellent oral, written and interpersonal communications skills. Additionally, it is desirable that the successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in creating content for the arts and cultural sector.

This is a fixed-term position until 31 March 2023, with the possibility of extension. Salary: £21,000 per annum.

Closing Date: 10am Wednesday 8 June 2022.

Office Location: Nerve Centre staff are currently working remotely in line with government advice. The role will be required to work from the Nerve Centre office in Derry-Londonderry.
