Ones to Watch
Ones To Watch is a film appreciation society for young people aged 17–25 who are not only obsessed with movies but want to take that obsession a step further.
About Ones to Watch
Ones to Watch offers young people the training and skills they need to curate online and live event content for themselves as film lovers and filmmakers.
From blockbusters to art-house, Ones to Watch is about creating new, innovative events and exciting online content. The programme offers programming and exhibition skills development in the fields of screenings, film production, visual design, media journalism and event management.
Ones to Watch is a Nerve Centre project supported by National Lottery through BFI Film Audience Network and Film Hub NI.
Get Involved
Workshops take place monthly online and in-person. Participants must be aged 17–25, be committed and interested in film production or exhibition. Participants will gain access to free cinema experiences, online platforms and industry networking opportunities to support your journey into film.

Audio Adapter
Audio Adapter is a short documentary film on Derry's music scene in lockdown developed by Nerve Centre’s Ones to Watch group, in conjunction with the Shortcuts Project funded by the Department of Communities through NI Screen as part of the Special Renewal Programme. Ones to Watch Online is supported by Film Hub NI.
Local young film programmers Ross Wilders, Sophie Davidson and Gai Gai Xie developed the idea through a series of creative workshops and film screenings. They were then paired with rising film maker Fiachra O’Longain who directed and edited the piece with the Ones to Watch team working alongside his crew.
