Nerve Belfast Delivers Six Days of Filmmaking at Ulster Folk and Transport Museum

Nerve Belfast Creative Learning Centre and Museums NI recently worked in partnership to deliver a shared education project for six schools from the Lisburn and Castlereagh area of Belfast. Schools were organised into three cross-community pairings for the duration of the project and over 140 young people were involved in a variety of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Mathematics) activities.  Nerve Belfast CLC delivered a total of six days of film-making using the Ulster Folk and Transport galleries as inspiration and backdrops. Each pairing of schools worked in cross community groups over two days, when the young people planned, filmed and edited genre based movies which were then showcased in the silent cinema at the Folk Park.
