Kicking-off the festive season is Christian McNeill who returns for a special homecoming gig for on Friday 23rd December. The show will be an insight into what should be expected from McNeill in 2017, as he looks set to undertake a tour with dates in the United States, Canada and cities across Europe.

The talented musician, who was named ‘Male Vocalist of the Year’ two years running in the Boston Music Awards, will be supported by the city’s most promising young musicians Rosbourough and Reevah.

Rock fans rejoice as Led Zeppelin tribute band The Rubber Plants return to Nerve Centre on Tuesday 27th December with a powerful two-hour show which promises to capture the spirit of the original masters.

The following evening, Wednesday 28th December, Northern Ireland’s best young comedians host a night of no-nonsense chat and belly aching laughter. The Comedy Squad featuring Colin Geddis, Micky Bartlett, Ciaran Bartlett, Aaron McCann, Ruairi Woods and Dave Elliott, will each perform for 20 minutes in this one-off gig.

2017 is also shaping up nicely with a number of gigs already confirmed. Performing on Friday 3rd March will be sassy alternative Rock/Pop duo REWS. Having made Hot Press Magazine’s list of  “Most Likely To Make An Impact in 2016”, REWS are creating a genuine buzz on the UK/Irish music scene following the release of their four singles. “Can You Feel It“, “Death Yawn“, “Shake Shake” and now the chart banging “Miss You In The Dark”.

On Saturday 18th March Lee Scratch Perry, one of the undisputed Reggae pioneers will grace the Nerve Centre stage.

Regarded with awe throughout the music world, Lee “Scratch” Perry holds status as one of the most enduring and original reggae producers and artists of all time.

From his early days in Kingston through to his production of some Wailers classics, Perry’s innovative style marks him out as one of Reggaes true originals. He’s worked with everyone from The Skatalites to The Clash and he can be credited with pairing Peter Tosh with Bob Marley and The Wailers.

Also credited with the invention of DUB, Perry's groundbreaking use of sound effects, echo reverb and rewind added a new dimension to Reggae music.

Lee “the Upsetter” Perry is still going strong at the grand old age of 80, still touring Europe and beyond. This is a gig not to be missed.
